# Chat system needs work

The chat system in this game needs an upgrade.  
You have no way of contacting a player even if they are a member of your guild.  
There is no flag or notification of new messages.  
If a player is logged in you have to hope they might not be playing and hope they see your message.  
How are you supposed to communicate as a guild with this system?  
Very frustrating.

I agree that the chat system is pretty poorly implemented (and causes battery drain like crazy on mobile platforms). @Nimhain just commented on this yesterday:
