# Chat bug additional info

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened?**  
Chat went doublespeak.  
Tagging @Kafka as this dev has been working on chat issues for a while.  
**What are the steps to make it happen again?**  
Unknown

Original doublespeak issue.

Switch to guild tab

Switch back to global. All appears fixed.

Nope, nvm. Still broke…

Does this happen regularly or only once every now and then?

Are you on wifi, mobile data or LAN cable?

Not enough to be classified as regularly, but more than once every now and then.  
I’ve noticed it mostly on WiFi but it has happened on mobile data. No PC, so no LAN cable possible.

Oh yeah, at one point yesterday I had to keep swapping tabs in order to see anything come through either chat tab. It was literally, I type something and send it. Nothing appears, I tab to guild, and back to global, and my message along with every other sent message from other players appeared up to the second that I tabbed back over to global. This was a one off issue, hopefully…
