# Chat Box Stuck...Help Please

When I’m finished using the chat box and I press the pad to switch back to game play it’s not switching back. Then I have to close the app and load the game. It’s very frustrating. How can I get this fixed?

Hi @EmsDad15, chances are you have the Inactive Chat Fade slider all the way to the right, which keeps it at full opacity while its not active. We’re looking at making this clearer in the next update, but if you slide that all the way to the left (So that the window becomes transparent), then when you exit the chat menu it will disappear.
