# Cannot connect to Global Chat after name change

Hi, as the title suggests I am having quite the issue with trying to connect to global chat after using the free name change to change my name yesterday.

It is stuck on a loop any time I press Yes, as shown in screenshots below. Any ideas? Not going to spend gems on a rename as obviously I didn’t think changing my name would break the game.

I sometimes have trouble connecting to Global Chat. When I do, it often works to simply close the game and restart, although on one or two occasions I needed force stop the app on my phone, and then restart.
