So what do people think is the best 10 troops of each base rarity of troops looks like? I thought this could be one of the best threads out there for newer and outdated players that had a 1-2 years break. I have lost track on it myself, even playing this game, there is coming new troops everywhere like it’s raining troops lol ---

Top 10? That’s hard. How about up to 10? I’m sure I’m missing lots too. I scrolled through my troop list and tried to pick what I use the most. Mythic: - High King Irongut (delves) - Ketras (delves) - Megavore (explore level 12) - Mistralus (she occasionally fills a nice niche in some teams) - Phoenicia (PvP farming) - Possessed King (delves) Legendary: - Glaycion (delves) - Gorgotha (delve, explore level 12, GW) - King Mikhail and Sir Quentin Hadley (Hadley for fast start for Mikhail in events) - Queen Beetrix (events, GW) - Lyrasza (Zuul team) - Maraji Queen (fast start for Rowanne or Phoenicia) - Tesla (delves) - Tink Steamwhistle (fire storm for Phoenicia which helps with class farming in PvP) - Wrath (GW) Epic: - Apophisis (pet rescue) - Child of Summer (empowered troop for Phoenicia) - All the trolls (yay mana generators) - Fist of Zorn (pet rescue) - Gargoyle (delves) - Harpy Mage (explore level 12) - Marilith (mana generator for Zuul team in delves) - Mercy (GW) - Rowanne (easy fight spam like quests or adventure board) Ultra-Rare: - Apothecary (delves) - Blade Dancer (events) - High Paladin (events) - Leprechaun (everywhere) - Moonsinger (empowered mana generator for Queen Bee) Rare: - Crysturtle (bounty) - Plainsumper (bounty) - Savage Hunter (pet rescue) - Tigraki Warrior (bounty) Common: - Cunning (events) - Fire Bomb (PvP defense) - Thrall (mana generator for Zuul teams) ---

Does Zuul count as mythic? I consider him post mythic 😅 I also think I am the only person who isn’t a big fan of Ubastet. ---

yeah hes mythic, even if hes not in normal drop pool. ive seen a few not thinking hes the best mythic in the game. ---

A few that haven’t been mentioned: **Mythic** - Kurandara’s curse all trait is great. Much better than Enraged Kurandara’s. - Vash’Dagon can turn into an absolute beast with a few casts. **Legendary** - [all of the double converters] - Divinia for a killer combo of trait and spell - Emperinazara for that magic boost trait - Lyrasza because Madness Storm with Thrall and The Emperor is just, well, madness **Common** - Bogstrider is nearly as cheap to cast as Thrall, plus he doesn’t block purple, can entangle, and survives skull hits better ---

Is this meant to be ascending or descending … 🤔 Okay, without looking too hard at other posts, what do I get … Zuul is literally its own thing. **Mythics:** Arachnean Weaver High King Irongut Infernus Mistralus Obsidius The Gray King The Possessed King The Wild Queen TINA-9000 Voice of Orpheus **Legendaries** Alderfather Divine Ishbaala Glaycion Keeper of Souls Queen Beetrix Queen Titania The Maraji Queen Venoxia Wrath Yao Guai **Epics** Mercy Rowanne Literally all the Mercy clones **Ultra-Rares** Apothecary Sandrunner Spirit Fox All the Mercy clones that are somehow Ultra-Rares instead of Epics Leprechaun (I guess technically not a Mercy clone) **Rares** Alchemist Banshee Bulette Cockatrice Crysturtle Rift Lynx Soldier of Wrath Tigraki Warrior **Commons** Bogstrider Thrall Guild Guardian statues (both sets) If I “missed” something its because I’m not literally omniscient, don’t use it, don’t like it, think it should go play in traffic until it dies, etc. Some combination of those. To be fair that applies to some things that made this post too. ---

before i start my list, here’s a list of troops that should end up on their respective lists, but I’m to lazy to write them into their tiers: Aphophisis, Child of Summer, Daughter of Ice, Drowned Sailor, First Mate Axelubber, Fist of Zorn, Gimlet Stormbrew, Grave Seer, Herald of Damnation, Lamashtu, Malcandessa, Mercy, Moon Rabbit, Moonsinger, Scurvy Seadog, Tai-Pan All above have empowered trait and convert gems, so they are either good for quickly filling up your main hitters with mana or giving yourself some extra skull matches (with Webspinner/Fireblade troop in front) right from move 1. These are versatile troops that are good in almost every game mode. Altough since release of Child of Summer I’m mainly using her instead of Tai-Pan for brown2red conversion and don’t recall if I ever used Scurvy in any of my teams, but other than that, all these are valid picks (PvP,GW, delves, WE, Class Trials, whatever else). Now, getting to the lists. Mythic: HKI (high KING irongut) → using him for delves/d12 explore TPK ( the possesed KING) → good mana generator, versatile in many setups, personaly use him most of the time with HKI for delving/d12 TGK (the gray KING) → PvP, GW so a king trio to start the list 😃 Phoenicia - using her mostly for fast explores on lower levels, but people have a lot of ideas Zuul - PvP, GW Obsidious - PvP, GW Mother of Darkness - been using her a lot, before I got Gray King, an unorthodox pick for GW 😉 Ubastet - Using him for Events Pharos Ra - although not using him currently, it’s best pick, if you want to focus on soulfarming Legendary: limiting to 10 is just harsh, there’s a lot of good troops that are either a good-arround troop or excel others at doing their job… so i wont limit myself these are strong picks: Yao Guai, Cederic, Divine Ishbala, Divinia, Emperinazara, Emperor Khorvash, Glaycion,Gorgotha,Holy St. Astra,Infernal King, Keeper of Souls,King Bloodhammer, King Grobtruffle, Kraken, Krystenax, Luna, Lust, Magnus, Nimue, Qilin, Queen Beetrix, Queen Titania, Sir Quenting Hadley, Tesla, Tink Steamwhistle, Venoxia, Webspinner, Wrath starting from here, there should be 2 lists: one for general use, and 2nd one for arena only, but i’ll focus on those outside of Arena. Arena could have a topic for itself Epic: Azura - buff dispell and mana generator Bone Golem - tanky and deathmarks on enemies Faunessa - starts empowered and can be very good for high level delves, where you can’t use HKI/ Tesla teams Moira Cragheart - converts gems to doomskulls, anything that converts gems into doomskulls should be on the list Rowanne - realy nice, and realy strong with some armor boosting troops/weapons Shadow Hunter - can work realy nicely against high lvl enemies. it can easily take down single enemy troop at the start of battle Sir Gwayne - mana generator and summoner Stringfiddler - silencing enemies and looping itself, this guy is one of most annoying goblins out there Ultra rare: Apothecary - good for delves, if you need cleanse and can’t use other troops Blade Dancer - good for WE, with medals that boost spell damage Egg Thief - core troop for SK/PP builds Leprechaun - empowered exploder, good mana generator Spirit Fox - a nice troop to counter empowered converters, valid for both defense/offense Wyvern - works nice with Scorpius Rare: Amaru - decent bountyhunter troop Clockwork Sphinx- early game unit, but probably best early game unit, works great with Rowanne on low levels Corpse Mare - decent bountyhunter troop Deep Elven Rogue - a bit gimmicky troop, a bit less usefull with lycanthropy added Dragonette - same as above Dragotaur - good in Dragon teams Goblin Shaman - works nice with EoE/Beetrix teams Man-at-Arms - decent bountyhunter troop Savage Hunter - this guy is a MONSTER vs green enemies, valid for GW defence teams Sister Superior - can be usefull, as she can cleanse anything on round 1, PvP troop Tigraki Warrior - decent bountyhunter troop common: Cunning - usefull with Raksha troops, valid for cheap ToD team Defiance - usefull with Urska troops, valid for cheap ToD team Dwarven Gate - in early game, you can see gimmick teams of 3x Gate + King Highforge in pvp Ferocity - usefull with Tauros troops, valid for cheap ToD team Finesse - usefull with Stryx troops, valid for cheap ToD team Giant Toadstool - that 20% transform chance can be realy strong in some situations Persistence - usefull with Wargare troops, valid for cheap ToD team Thrall - good mana generator Treachery - usefull with Naga team, valid for cheap ToD team Wall of Bones - used it a bit in very early game PvP, combined with Dwarven gate, hero and a damage dealers, idea was to hide behind the double walls and hit enemies with whatever i could, and if my walls get broken, my troops should have enough attack to one-shot enemies there you go… if i missed a troop, than sorry ---

Epic no one has mentioned yet: Tuliao she works best in teams where she can cast on her own 2 colors (yellow/green), so she is a little bit more niche, but then again all the mercy clones are color limited too. I have one green GW team that uses her, and I like her in several delves to fill irongut on yellow even more than I like some of the classic converters (such as Valkyrie for example). tuliao/irongut/Amaru is a pretty good yellow delve trio actually imho
