# As Requested by a Dev: A Thread about Devs' Actions/Inactions

> There’s no pity timer for Mythics in Gems of War and every Key of the same type has the same individual chance of dropping something. ie. if you open 200 Chests you have 200 individual chances to find a mythic at the same individual drop rate, ie. VIP Keys have a 1% chance of there being a mythic drop, that does not mean that 1 mythic is guaranteed per 100 VIP Keys opened. It means you literally have a 1% chance for every single Key you open. It could be you get 0/500 Mythics in the first 500 pulls and then 10 in the second set of 500 and then nothing in the next 1,000 VIP Keys for example.
