I think I ended up playing 5 times or so – up to the Writs reward. It’s hard to know, because they forgot to build a proper User Interface for the Event!
It was passably entertaining, but took far too much time. And the offers were useless.
I think you would have to really love Arena to bother much with the Event.

Truly the WORST DEVS Event Evar!!
Sad but True. Arena could be so much better with even a little bit of DEVS efforts, but the supposed “re-work” we get is really miserable and a step back from ALL the other Weekend Events!

Was waiting until Taran’s World updated and it’s finally been “confirmed” that Arena events are part of the rotation and will come back on Dec 11th. I realize this was probably known and that nothing will change until a new patch comes around, but I assumed that given the feedback, Arena events would simply be ninja-removed from the rotation. At least that confirms another free/stress-free weekend.

Battles to earn 1 Chaos Orb in the weekend Invasion: 21.
- Ability to purchase potions to make them go quicker
- Potential for 50% start/Empowered
- Low-level players admittedly might slow down as enemy stats increase
- Can choose all 4 troops at once
Battles to earn 1 Chaos Orb in weekend Arena event: 90(?)
- Slow battles due to lack of traits/potions/team synergy
- Stats are even for both new- and end-gamers
- New players might not know which cards are best to pick
It’s just not even close to parity with other events.
