# Alliance Ranks Shouldn't Be Reset Every Season

I think the developers will be very disappointed with the drop in PVP pass sales. Not including crystals and/or star stones in the store is a serious marketing mistake. The new PVP season starts in 4 days. The developers don’t have time to fix this mistake anymore

I’m sure this has been mentioned before, but why not do rank decay? I get they want people consistently pushing to high ranks, that’s all well and good. But the amount of battles needed to get to high ranks is absolutely nuts. I’ve never come anywhere close, personally. Rank decay would keep players striving for high ranks each season, but also allow players to slowly climb ranks season to season rather than starting at square one each time.

Imo, Alliance ranks should be treated like Honor ranks. Once we have obtained those rankings, they should not be removed or “decay” because that is tip-toeing around the real problem–R.E.S.P.E.C.T. And given the **horrible** 9.2 conversion based off Kingdom levels, they have no right deciding what our time and effort are worth.

Not to mention that up to 5 gold marks a day (who cares about silver marks) is not that big of a deal. They are treating that reward like it’s this huge advantage, when it really does not have that much of an impact. We just want peace of mind. Stressing out players at the start of the season to increase player activity is their way of manipulating us, and making it more likely that we will buy the Season Pass.

This fish is not taking that bait, and I encourage others to do the same.
