# A background updater thread

Hi,  
I find extremely annoying when I return to the main screen the game start polling the server and during this time time the UI is blocked.  
I propose a background thread on PC/Android which would wake up time to time and poll the server and when I return to the main screen and there is something to display it would appear immediately.
