# 9.2 Kingdom Upgrade task - Upgrade a troop to shiny is broken

**What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:**
_Most of my kingdoms are stuck on task 3 “Upgrade 1 troop to shiny level 1”. I upgraded a troop to shiny level 1 and the task is still there and doesn’t mark as complete._
**How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?**
_it’s happening now patch 9.2. I restarted the game, still broken._
**Steps to make it happen again**
_uh, have the kingdom upgrade task, then get enough shiny tokens to upgrade a troop of that kingdom._

Salvation, I have heard opening gold keys can trip this so it registers, but not sure about on XBOX. Maybe give a try? ☕

I thought something was up when I used a bunch of shiny keys the other day but I got a notification about an hour later saying they’d been done. It wasn’t gold keys for me I was in a delve
