Okay, so. We're officially in the top 250. I cleared out a lot of my replies in the thread here to help condense it down a lot, changed the title of the thread, etc etc.
We have ONE spot open, so I'm hoping to fill that, especially with Guild Wars.
We were top of our bracket last week, most everyone participated to some degree, many did all of their days entirely, win or loss, so. It was a good start! We won each day too. We got bumped up a bit too high this week, we're probably not going to do nearly as well, since a fair amount of our members do not have the OP "meta" decks everyone loves to use.
As we get closer to 200, and it's becoming obvious that the ladder climb is going to take much longer than I had presumtuously thought before (silly me), I was also advised that perhaps I should vocalize my plans for this guild as well to any potential new people, as well as current members.
As I told him, I am not going to total world domination here, this is never going to be a guild that's all "your min is 400k gold, 1500 seals, 300 trophies, do it or you're out!". I do want to make it clear, however, I AM going to eventually have minimums. Doable ones, ones I know I myself can achieve fairly easily, so.
We have people who do more than that already, even without minimums. I want a guild that wants to work together, to achieve greatness and gain rewards, simply because they want to. Guilld comradery, as it were. Is it possible? I hope so. I'm not so delusional to think that people aren't capable of abandoning me or the guild for higher ranked ones at the drop of a hat, after all
But I like to think that the majority won't, and our achievements will simply speak for themselves, and give them the same level of satisfaction it gives me. For instance, I recently got ALL kingdoms to level 10. All my gold now goes directly to the guild, all the time. It's an awesome feeling. It took me FOREVER to achieve it, and now I have to deal with trying to get all kingdoms starred up as much as possible.
As I put it to the one member, I want to dominate through being lax! We are probably going to hit top 200 at some point, we do still climb, but it's definitely slower. When that happens, I'm going to look over how much each rank from there on takes trophy wise, how many seals we're getting each week, and I'm also paying attention to how much each person participates in GW, and in the guild in general, to try and find fair minimums that I will likely implement after we pass rank 200.
Whatever minimums do come in, they will be lax, and I will increase them as I see fit, and as we climb higher, to try and maintain that position. However, ultimately, and again - the idea is to remain lax. The initial minimums will likely just be hitting Tier 1 in PVP, doing your fights in GW, win or lose, and generating 1500 seals a week. It's REALLY not that hard now, especially with Guild Wars, weekly event quests for explore mode or what not, and doing PVP in general. I will likely never have a gold requirement, ever, because if you're not at all kingdoms level 10, you should be more focused on that anyways. And if you are, all your gold should be going to the guild regardless, so.
I just want an ACTIVE, but lax feeling, guild, that will dominate as much as it can dominate, in the end
So yeah, if that huge rambling post doesn't put you off and you want to be our 30th and you're active, hit me up!
