Except Destroy doesn’t add the victim’s stats. Not that it matters, most of the time…

Correct, unless you like running him out front which I do perhaps more often than not. Though, Wulf with a Fenrir buff and a devour buff is a tad overkill 
yeah but that doesnt counter the triggered effect, it only stops the trigger from triggering in the first place so i dont treat it as a counter to the effect, more like a countering tactic in general
the same applies to lack of mana drain counter
its as if removing skulls from the board would be a good enough counter and the game wouldnt need to introduce skull damage reduction traits or agility type traits xD
And now you cannot use anymore Wulfgarok in GW as Devour doesn’t count any damage…
at least it does devour impervious so the nerf is temporarily weakened

Yes, but his impervious is also nerfed, so now he can be devoured and mana-burned.
