Her icon looks like a woman but she smarter than men.

Well, she has this troop hidden deep inside,
Emma Blightbane, The Herald’s Bride.
She picked my brain and slapped me in my face!

But my teams are getting stronger and I know why,

Vivacious and kind.
Even devs lag behind.
So they offered her a fee.

Patches will be bugged, and bugs will be patched.
Nobody understands the plan the devs hatched,

Well I downloaded this a week before,
And I’ve never ever matched a gem before.

Ah, memories! Back when we thought Design-A-Troop was coming the first time, a few of us (remember this, @RiverSong?) thought we’d shoot for a daemon huntress style troop inspired by Emma Peel, the Diablo 3 Demon Hunter, Bayonetta, etc. The spells we proposed never quite made it to fruition, but the spirit of the troop idea was eventually added to the game in the form of:
We had a emo backstory all worked out for her, too, but unfortunately that never quite made it into the game lore…

To be fair, remove the “a” and Shakespeare has already written a pretty emo story about Desdemona! Defies her father, runs off with a black guy, is generally a good person, someone convinces her husband she’s cheating, he murders her, he then realises she was faithful and kills himself etc. etc.
